Surprise Benefit for Steve Ronca Sr.
In January of 2013 Steve Ronca Sr. discovered a small lump in his throat, after going through several tests he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lymphoma, a form of blood cancer. Since being diagnosed with this disease he has been in immediate Chemotherapy, he will get a week break and move into a Radiotherapy treatment. It is tough to see a loved one or anyone in that matter go through such pain. It has definitely been a roller coaster ride over the last couple of months and more ahead. The positive news is that Lymphoma is treatable but just has to be aggressive due to the stage. While seeing my father go through this, the bills have been excessive and insurance barely covers them.
With all this said, you are invited to attend our event to help support a good cause. Tickets are $35 pre-sale or $50 at the door, that includes all food, beverages, alcohol. The event will feature live entertainment, Dean Garofolo Elvis tribute artist, door prizes, silent auction, DJ Rick Mancini and raffle baskets. Children are free of charge with access to the zoo. We hope to see you there.

Lymphoma is a type of blood cancer that occurs when B or T lymphocytes, the white blood cells that form a part of the immune system and help protect the body from infection and disease, divide faster than normal cells or live longer than they are supposed to. Lymphoma may develop in the lymph nodes, spleen, bone marrow, blood or other organs and eventually they form a tumor.
